Career Opportunity
We’re looking for experienced registered nurses to provide home infusion therapies to patients in their homes.
Requirements
- BLS and / or ACLS certificate.
- California RN license (ADN/BSN or higher)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience with a focus in a specialty that requires frequent venous access.
- A valid drivers license with reliable personal transport and must be willing to drive.
- Up to date automobile insurance
- Physical exam, completed within the last 24 months
Essential Skills for Home Infusion RNs
IV Expertise
Administer IV medications safely and efficiently.
Patient Assessment
Monitor vital signs and assess patient response to treatment.
Communication
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Strong IV skills
- Comfortable managing PICC line / Port / central line access
- Competent with Lab draws
- Able to work independently and autonomously in home or alternate site settings
- Must be tech savvy and customer service oriented
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively relay the needs of the patient
Responsibilities
Administering Infusions
Provide safe and effective infusion therapy.
Patient Education
Teach patients about their treatment and how to manage their condition
Documentation
Maintain accurate records of patient care and communication.
Monitoring Patient Progress
Track patient outcomes and communicate with healthcare providers
